Tara Parekh Photography Featured on Inside Edition

2021 was the year of the cicada invasion, and right in the middle of it I was photographing Niki and Mary’s Fairfax, Virginia wedding. We were outside in their back yard when I came up with the idea of incorporating a cicada into their wedding photos. I was able to get a pretty epic cicada ring shot (pictured above). The photo became one of their favorites and even ended up in their wedding album.

A few weeks later, a past wedding client sent me message. She was watching TV and had just seen my photo on Inside Edition. It was featured in a story called, “17-Year Cicada Invasion Creates Noisy Problem at Outdoor Weddings.” How cool is that?! Tara Parekh Photography was featured on Inside Edition!
