Anne and Erik’s Wedding

Meet Anne and Erik. Anne has been a friend since way back in middle school when we met at an arts camp in Maryland. She was there taking a pottery class, and I was there learning traditional darkroom photography. We kept in touch over the years, and I was so excited when she called to invite us to their last minute (legal ceremony) wedding. There was no way I was going to let her get away without having photographers! Anne and Erik are off having 2 more weddings with their non-local families. Congrats you two! Enjoy the photos! You might remember Michelle and Viq from their Georgetown engagement session back in the summer. We had so much fun shooting their session that we were extremely excited to have the opportunity to photograph their wedding as well. When the wedding day arrived, Jeff Simpson Photography and I headed to the beautiful Mansion at Strathmore in Bethesda, MD. There were some great speeches, dancing, and lots of love and laughs from Michelle and Viq’s family members. These two even had a DJ that sang along to the music. You might remember Jacqui and Eric from their fall engagement session in Washington, DC. These two are such a fun couple. They decided to get married in Annapolis, Maryland at Silver Swan Bayside. The wedding day started out cloudy and eventually turned to rain, but that didn’t stop this amazing celebration from getting wild. In between the breaks in the rain, we rushed the couple outside to grab some epic photos by the water. What an amazing sky! It just goes to say that rain on your wedding day is truly good luck.
